During his regular duties in a family replacement home for people who are mentally disabled, Oscar de Jong noticed how hard it was for them to participate in activities which are by fit people considered as a matter of course. Besides the lack of sufficient financial means there also exist practical problems, like transport and guidance during a trip. For Oscar de Jong, this gave rise to the establishment of Stichting Droom en Zo.

Stichting Droom en Zo makes is possible for sponsors from business or private persons to adopt an activity or donate a gift. Through the foundation, the co-ordination and organization of an acitivity is taken care of. In addition to that the foundation for her sponsors accounts for its financial building. This way Stichting Droom en Zo does not depend on the policy of the government or a caring institute. You as a sponsor are definately more than welcome to join one of the foundation's sponsored activities.
